Mr. Wittenbrink is Partner to Baird Hanson Williams LLP. He is an environmental professional with 20 years of direct experience in the evaluation, appraisal and mitigation of environmental conditions and associated liabilities. Mr. Wittenbrink represents clients under major federal and state environmental laws in the areas of environmental litigation, commercial transactions, compliance and environmental audits. His legal services address a broad range of environmental issues including permitting and compliance services. His representation often includes direct oversight, for example during compliance testing and inspections under the federal Clean Air Act and related state laws. He routinely meets with regulatory agencies on behalf of his clients regarding environmental compliance and other related issues. He has extensive experience with environmental laws including CAA and the Comprehensive Environmental Response and Compensation Liability Act. His experience includes historical and forensic research of corporate histories and related environmental impacts.
Mr. Wittenbrink’s client base includes industry groups and Fortune 100 companies. In addition to the legal services he provides, he often serves as an expert witness at trial and deposition addressing the apportionment of environmental costs and damages at environmentally impaired sites. Mr. Wittenbrink received his law degree from the University of Denver, where he graduated with honors. His undergraduate studies include a B.A. from the University of Colorado in Environmental Biology. He has served on the Governor’s Blue Ribbon Commission addressing regional air pollution issues. He is a member of the Colorado Bar Association.
